We prioritize local First Nations training and education, local First Nations management and labour employment and business contracts, and use of local First Nations materials, which foster true partnerships leading to sustainable economic and human capital development and prosperity.

We work to overcome challenges like a lack of available local training programs, funding constraints, and complex regulatory landscapes, integrating Indigenous cultural practices and knowledge into project and resource management.

Dustin Seguin, B.H.S., J.D., leads the First Nations Advocates Project and Resource Management law practice. A proud member of the Norway House Cree Nation, he started his legal career on Bay Street in Toronto with a national law firm and later with a boutique First Nations law firm in Ontario before managing First Nations Advocates’ Winnipeg Office on the Madison Reserve. He is assisted by other lawyers, paralegals and law clerks of the Firm.
